This is the most personal photo on the site. Jo should look completely herself here, warm, relaxed, and quietly confident. Not posed or corporate. Perhaps leaning against a wall or sitting on the edge of a beautiful chair. A genuine smile, looking directly at camera. Soft natural light from one side. Cream or warm background. The feeling: "I am the person you have been looking for."

Evidence-led support, delivered with warmth and care.

The Why

Why I do
this work.

My work is about helping people feel steady again. Not by forcing positivity or handing out generic advice, but by understanding what is happening beneath the surface and using practical, evidence-led tools to create change that actually lasts.

Whether it is an individual who is overwhelmed, a leader carrying too much privately, or a team that is running on empty, the goal is always the same: clarity, resilience, and a better way to live and work.

"People cannot build something meaningful on exhaustion and stress. A well mind is the key that changes everything."

This is not quick-fix wellness. It is real support for real pressure. Science-backed, human-first, and built entirely around you.

The Journey

A blend of science,
leadership, and real-world work.

I'm Jo Stavraki (a.k.a. Ioanna or Jo Wellbeing), a wellbeing specialist and neuropsychologist with an MSc in Applied Neuropsychology. For over a decade, I've been working with individuals and organisations across the UK, Cyprus, and internationally.

I don't do generic wellness. I work with the science of how your brain and nervous system actually function under pressure, and I use that science to help you make real, lasting change. Whether you're an individual running on empty or a business watching its best people burn out quietly, I can help. And it starts with a conversation.

A slightly more editorial portrait. Jo looking thoughtful and grounded, perhaps looking slightly off-camera as if mid-thought. Seated at a desk with books or notes visible, or standing near a bookshelf. The feeling is "expert who also happens to be warm." Natural light, cream or warm tones.

"Credibility matters. But so does how you feel in the room with someone. I aim to bring both."

The Experience

What it is like to
work together.

Working with me is calm, practical, and genuinely supportive. You will have space to think clearly, say what you really mean, and make sense of what has been building in the background. I will help you understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and build tools you can actually use in everyday life and work, so progress shows up outside the session, not just inside it.

I am not here to hand you generic advice or push quick fixes. I am here to help you feel steadier, more confident, and more in control, one step at a time.

Evidence-led tools

Everything we do together is grounded in psychology and neuroscience, translated into practical techniques you can actually apply.

Personalised support

No templates. No one-size-fits-all programmes. Every plan is built specifically around your challenges, your goals, and your life.

A safe, grounding space

Sessions feel calm and contained. A space where you can be honest without judgement, and think more clearly than you can on your own.

Real-life outcomes

The measure of our work is not what happens in sessions. It is what changes in your day-to-day life, your decisions, your relationships, and how you feel.

Who I Work With

People who want to thrive,
not just cope.

People come to me for different reasons, but the underlying need is often the same. They want to feel clearer, steadier, and more like themselves again.

Personal Wellbeing

What Changes

The results you are
working towards.

Not perfection. Progress you can feel in your body, your choices, and your relationships. Most people come to me when life feels too loud, too fast, or too heavy. The work we do together creates steadiness, builds resilience, and helps you feel more like yourself again.

  • Clearer thinking under pressure
  • Calmer reactions and better emotional regulation
  • Stronger boundaries and healthier routines
  • Improved communication and relationships
  • More confidence during transitions and change
  • A stronger sense of purpose and direction

The aim is simple. A life and work rhythm that feels sustainable.

Beyond the Session Room

Writing, research,
and public work.

I also share wellbeing education through writing and research-informed content, because psychology should feel accessible, useful, and grounded in real life.

Beyond the Work

Because creativity keeps
us present.

Outside of sessions and workshops, I am also a photographer. It is one of the ways I stay grounded and connected to the present moment, and it reflects what I believe at the heart of wellbeing: noticing what matters, slowing down, and reconnecting with meaning.

The First Step

Book a free
introductory call.

A relaxed, no-pressure conversation about what you need and how I can support you. You can tell me what has been going on, what you have tried, and what you are hoping to feel instead. If it is a fit, I will recommend the best next step.

Confidential, supportive, and practical.

Good Questions

Questions people
usually ask.

If you are wondering it, you are probably not the only one.

Both. I am based in Cyprus and offer in-person sessions locally and online sessions with clients anywhere in the world. We will choose whatever works best for you.
Think of it as psychology-led wellbeing support. It is practical, personalised, and focused on helping you feel better in real life. It is not therapy in the clinical sense, but it is grounded in the same science and takes your wellbeing just as seriously.
Stress, overwhelm, burnout prevention, confidence, boundaries, life transitions, relationships, leadership wellbeing, and workplace wellbeing are common starting points. If you are not sure whether your situation fits, bring it to the free call and we will figure it out together.
It depends entirely on what you need. Some people want a focused short reset, others prefer ongoing support. We will decide together after the introductory call and adjust as we go. There is no pressure to commit to anything upfront.
Always. I take the time to understand your people, your goals, and your culture before designing anything. The support should fit how your organisation actually works, not the other way around.
It is a calm, relaxed conversation. You share what is going on, I ask a few questions, and together we figure out the most helpful next step. No pitch, no pressure. Just clarity on what is possible and whether working together feels right.
Yes. My full name is Ioanna Stavraki, and Jo comes from Joanna, the English form of Ioanna. Whether you found me as Ioanna, Joanna, or Jo, it is the same person, the same qualifications, and the same work.
Jo Wellbeing is the name of my practice, and it is how my work appears on some profiles and channels. Jo Stavraki, Ioanna Stavraki, and Jo Wellbeing all refer to the same practice: science-backed wellbeing support for individuals and organisations.
