Evidence-led support, delivered with warmth and care.
The Why
My work is about helping people feel steady again. Not by forcing positivity or handing out generic advice, but by understanding what is happening beneath the surface and using practical, evidence-led tools to create change that actually lasts.
Whether it is an individual who is overwhelmed, a leader carrying too much privately, or a team that is running on empty, the goal is always the same: clarity, resilience, and a better way to live and work.
"People cannot build something meaningful on exhaustion and stress. A well mind is the key that changes everything."
This is not quick-fix wellness. It is real support for real pressure. Science-backed, human-first, and built entirely around you.
The Journey
I'm Jo Stavraki (a.k.a. Ioanna or Jo Wellbeing), a wellbeing specialist and neuropsychologist with an MSc in Applied Neuropsychology. For over a decade, I've been working with individuals and organisations across the UK, Cyprus, and internationally.
I don't do generic wellness. I work with the science of how your brain and nervous system actually function under pressure, and I use that science to help you make real, lasting change. Whether you're an individual running on empty or a business watching its best people burn out quietly, I can help. And it starts with a conversation.
Graduate study in applied neuropsychology, exploring how the brain and nervous system shape behaviour, emotion, and cognition under real-world conditions.
Membership of the BPS, the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK, committed to responsible and ethical practice.
Frontline experience leading and supporting wellbeing delivery at county scale within the NHS, working with individuals and teams under genuine pressure.
Teaching at postgraduate level in Organisational Psychology and Research Methods, translating complex psychology into practical, applicable knowledge.
Contributing to wellbeing writing and research, with an ongoing commitment to making evidence-based psychology accessible and useful in everyday life.

Jo StavrakiThe Experience
Working with me is calm, practical, and genuinely supportive. You will have space to think clearly, say what you really mean, and make sense of what has been building in the background. I will help you understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and build tools you can actually use in everyday life and work, so progress shows up outside the session, not just inside it.
I am not here to hand you generic advice or push quick fixes. I am here to help you feel steadier, more confident, and more in control, one step at a time.
Everything we do together is grounded in psychology and neuroscience, translated into practical techniques you can actually apply.
No templates. No one-size-fits-all programmes. Every plan is built specifically around your challenges, your goals, and your life.
Sessions feel calm and contained. A space where you can be honest without judgement, and think more clearly than you can on your own.
The measure of our work is not what happens in sessions. It is what changes in your day-to-day life, your decisions, your relationships, and how you feel.
Who I Work With
People come to me for different reasons, but the underlying need is often the same. They want to feel clearer, steadier, and more like themselves again.
For when life feels heavy, fast, overwhelming, or out of balance.
For organisations that want healthier teams and a stronger culture.
For people carrying a lot privately, even when everything looks fine on the outside.
What Changes
Not perfection. Progress you can feel in your body, your choices, and your relationships. Most people come to me when life feels too loud, too fast, or too heavy. The work we do together creates steadiness, builds resilience, and helps you feel more like yourself again.
The aim is simple. A life and work rhythm that feels sustainable.
Beyond the Session Room
I also share wellbeing education through writing and research-informed content, because psychology should feel accessible, useful, and grounded in real life.

Outside of sessions and workshops, I am also a photographer. It is one of the ways I stay grounded and connected to the present moment, and it reflects what I believe at the heart of wellbeing: noticing what matters, slowing down, and reconnecting with meaning.
The First Step
A relaxed, no-pressure conversation about what you need and how I can support you. You can tell me what has been going on, what you have tried, and what you are hoping to feel instead. If it is a fit, I will recommend the best next step.
Confidential, supportive, and practical.
Good Questions
If you are wondering it, you are probably not the only one.
